San Diego Youth Football Fund is a non-profit organization established to assist financially disadvantaged families needing financial assistance in caring for family members injured while participating in San Diego area Pop Warner and CIF High School football, including football players, coaches, cheerleaders, and football officials.

College Scholarship

Philosophy & Criterias

Annually, the FUND will award a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving high school senior football player that has been nominated by his/her coach having demonstrated that the individual has attained a high degree of academic, athletic, community and leadership abilities. The Selection Committee of the San Diego Youth Football Fund will select the individual chosen after a review of his/her qualifications.

The Criteria that will be utilized in determining the award will include the following:

    • High School Senior • San Diego CIF Section • Varsity Football Player • Nominated by the Head Coach • Complete Application • Two Letters of Reference • Academic achievement • Community Involvement • Planning to attend a 4 year college

Deadline for Appling

To be considered for the Annual Scholarship Award, we must receive the applicants completed application by December 31, 2011.
